Desiree Brown is a Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist, Emotional Intelligence Coach, and Certified Havening Techniques® Practitioner based in Te K?iti, King Country, New Zealand.

Desiree trained in Havening Techniques® to support her work in emotional intelligence, self-awareness, emotional regulation, and practical wellbeing education within the community.

Havening Techniques® is a guided psychosensory approach that incorporates gentle touch, focused attention, and relaxation techniques designed to support emotional wellbeing and nervous system regulation. As part of the first session, Desiree teaches Self-Havening techniques that clients can use independently as part of their ongoing wellbeing practice.

Desiree works with people from a range of backgrounds and life experiences, supporting individuals with stress management, emotional wellbeing, confidence-building, resilience, and personal development goals.

Many clients report feeling calmer, more grounded, and better able to manage difficult emotions and life pressures following sessions. Havening Techniques® may support emotional processing around challenging experiences, grief, overwhelm, stress, and emotional tension.

Sessions are gentle, client-led, and tailored to the individual. Desiree provides both in-person and online sessions, allowing people to access support in a way that feels comfortable and accessible to them.

Desiree has 14 years of experience working in the social sector, with additional education and training in family violence, suicide bereavement, emotional wellbeing, and community support. Her work is grounded in a practical, trauma-aware, and person-centred approach.
